NRA's Wayne LaPierre and Chris Cox Issue Joint Statement

"Despite the fact that the Obama administration approved the sale of bump fire stocks on at least two occasions, the National Rifle Association is calling on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) to immediately review whether these devices comply with federal law. The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semi-automatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."

I disagree.

I hate to repeat myself, but the NRA has been around for every egregious law passed by the Congress infringing on the Second Amendment since 1877. It doesn’t mean you can’t join in their agenda, it just means you need to be aware of what it is you are supporting with your dollars. The NRA is not your friend. Again, join all you want, but know they are not the organization we need fighting for our freedom. They could change with appropriate Leadership, but I am not holding my breath.

With the NRA as guardian of the Second Amendment, how long can we say our right to bear arms, will include firearms?

I disagree.

So do I. Unfortunately, in order to maintain my membership at a shooting range locally, I have to maintain an NRA membership.
