Can a company be kosher? I would’ve thought it would be based on the specific product. If Nestle buys a Hormel, certainly that wouldn’t make bacon kosher. Would that make Nestle no longer kosher?

I’m no expert on this. But it’s my understanding that a product is kosher only if it is made under the supervision of a rabbi. And a company would be kosher only if all of its products are made under the supervision of a rabbi.

And if, for whatever reason, the rabbi no longer approves of the process...the company can no longer us the K sumbol on its products.
