Q's mention of the "16-year plan to destroy America" today reminded me of that wacky governor's plan to destroy America. It all's in high gear today:

Gov. Richard Lamm (former three-term Democratic governor of Colorado from 1975-1987) gave a speech in October 2003, “A plan to destroy America" at one of the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s conferences. His article in the Washington Examiner on April 20, 2006

1. Make America a bilingual/bicultural country.

2. Invent "multiculturalism"; encourage immigrants to maintain their own culture.

3. Make the United States a "Hispanic Quebec"; celebrate diversity rather than unity.

4. Encourage immigrants to keep their own language and culture.

5. Get big foundations and Big Business to give these efforts lots of money. Establish the cult of victimology.

6. Establish dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties.

7. Place all these subjects off-limits and make them taboo to talk about. Use words like "racist" and "xenophobe" that halt argument and conversation. Make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. Develop a mantra: because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good.

8. Censor Victor Davis Hanson's book, "Mexifornia". It exposes my plan to destroy America.

Priceless. What a punch these evil forces packed, and with so little interference or push back.
