But next year it will go to the FDA for approval for anyone on statin therapy. Results release in September showed 30% reduction in cardiac and stroke events for those on statin therapy vs placebo. This could be huge for diabetics as well. Do your own due diligence.
Forgot to mention that the vascepa study also showed a 20% reduction in cardiac stroke deaths versus placebo plus statin. Was a 6-year 8200 population study. Could well be a miracle drug. Currently there is a third-party study referred to as Evaporate. A study using Vescepa to determine if it reduces arterial plaque. There is some indications it will be a slam dunk when the results are released.
