A man should open the door. Women are the weaker sex, no question. When it comes to paying the check, women should pay. After all, they’re demanding equality in the workplace and taking the high paying jobs (while the men still often do the heavy lifting). I think it’s a fair trade.
I hate this war between the sexes. I don’t want to be weak little wifey deferring to the Big Man, but I sure hate men being so angry at all women because some are bitches. Some of us are not. And yeah, whoever invites whomever should pay for that first meal, but if one of the couple has more money,then they should probably find a way to pay or find a way to make the situation more comfortable. I don’t think men should always automatically pay.
