My wife has trained me from the start, of course, to not only to get the check with her, but also to pay if we have any younger people with us, her friends, nephews, nieces, or elderly. Its our role/responsibility as both mentors to the younger generation, and respect to our elders. We can split the check with peers.

A man should open the door. Women are the weaker sex, no question. When it comes to paying the check, women should pay. After all, they’re demanding equality in the workplace and taking the high paying jobs (while the men still often do the heavy lifting). I think it’s a fair trade.

Umm, Hello, men picking up the check shows that they have resources and they’re willing to expend them loving, protecting, and providing for their women. In spite of the best efforts of the radical feminists, some women still find this quite attractive.
