Whatever happened to “gender-neutral”?
There are some individuals who are just outside the great imperative to become the parents of the next generation.
There is no line of purebred mules, which result from a mating of the horse stallion with a female donkey, a “jenny”. Mules are sterile, and cannot reproduce. The reverse cross, a male donkey, a “jack”, with a horse mare, makes a similar, but inferior, animal, known as a “hinny” that lacks the endurance and tenacity of a mule. They, too, are also sterile and cannot reproduce.
So the ‘diverse’ are non-reproductive members of the human race. This may be a good thing, I just do not see how.
