So, anyways, guys.

What I miss?

Finally caught up. What a slog. That'll teach me to go to a meeting of FReepers for lunch.

Oh, guess who was there????

JIM ROBINSON HIMSELF!!!!

I always wanted to meet him, and I finally got to. I have to admit, as awesome as I am, I was star struck. I get that way for only a few, and they have to be in the hero category.

I'll give a short after-action report. No pics, due to not owning a cell phone, and I didn't see anybody taking any pics, unless they snuck 'em.

No pics, but it DID happen. Ask Jr.

There were 12 total in attendance. And it was AWESOME. Everybody was nice as pie and tons of good convo was had. Oh, the co-founder of FR was there too.

There was one guy that was the life of the party, but I forget his screen name. Shoulda took notes.

I hope that we can have more get togethers in Fresno like that. I offered to do anything I could to help any of them with any activism planned for the future.

I recommend that FR chapters in all states or cities where FReepers congregate arrange meet-ups where they can discuss ideas and plan activities to give FreeRepublic more visibility, attract more people to the site, and make our voice stronger. I think that would be a very good thing.

Jim Robinson was incredibly cool and awesome, I have to say. And so were the other Freeps.

Thanks, guys, for inviting me.

(tomorrow the Oracle will announce the nominations person and FReeQ of the year. Sorry about the delay.

Complicated business.

p.s. I told Jim Robinson I was gonna tell everybody I met him.

😉

Right when I had the dastardly Tzu-ster tied to the tracks with the steam locomotive bearing down on him, i turned to say something to Natasha, and the Tzu-ster gnawed through the ropes and slipped free...

CURSE THE LUCK!!!!!

Next time i will use bailing wire!!
