Seven million dollars might not seem like a lot when you consider that the illegal drug business generates hundreds of billions of dollars of revenue for organized crime all over the world. But, at least theres $7 million worth of hard drugs off the streets.
A major drug bust occurred earlier this week at the U.S./Mexico border in Texas. Border officials said that an estimated $6,998,000 worth of methamphetamine, cocaine and what is believed to be heroin were discovered.
Border agents at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge cargo facility were alerted to a commercial shipment of stone blocks on Monday. Officers with drug-sniffing dogs discovered packages of narcotics hidden within the shipment.
The bridge crosses the Rio Grande, connecting Texas with Mexico.
Officials said they seized 35 packages believed to be methamphetamine weighing 320 pounds, seven packages believed to be cocaine weighing almost 40 pounds and two packages believed to be heroin weighing around seven pounds.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) tweeted about the bust, along with a picture of the seizure:

Glad to see they are sending only their finest and best people.
Can’t they just fly it into a small airport in Arkansas?
Anyone know when they will be holding the police auction for the confiscated goods?
Asking for a friend......
SLURP!
The MSM memory hole closes.
The event never occurred.
Puts a little dent in 2020 democrat fundraising
Build the wall!
$7 Mill?
So will they cash it in somehow?
If not, it is worth $0.
Or put it in the Build The Wall Fund.
$7 million? Americans use that much before the mid morning coffee break every day.
So some mule gets his head blown off by the Cartel because his load got confiscated. Also creating more demand.
Seems to me If they really wanted to hurt the supplier they’d have tracked the drugs to the destination and then set up a bust of the Cash that gets smuggled back south.
