I remember reading one of her books in which the following question was asked: I have to paraphrase as do not remember the exact words.
Someone asked if America was ripe for plucking yet. The answer given was "No, first 3 things must happen. Get away from the gold standard, 2. Get the populace hooked on social programs. I forget the third.
I read the book in the 80's and whatever was said hit me hard enough to remember to this date. I would love to reread the book.
Please advise if anyone remembers it.

Probably “The Devil’s Advocate”. Great conservative author. Great books. I read most of them. Been a while ago though.
Lefties ban her.

I have heard the expression but don’t think it came from a book.
The third one was something about removing God from schools or something like that.

Maybe "None Dare Call It Conspiracy", by Gary Allen, Larry Abraham..
I had that one years ago and that does sound vaguely familiar...

Here is my guess....
Claire Wolfe

Captains and Kings? I read it way back in the day and recently bought an old edition for my son. Great book.

It could be The Rise and Fall of Society by Frank Chodorov (New York: Devin Adair, 1959) or The People's Pottage by Garet Garrett (Caldwell, Ida.: Caxton, 1953)

Forget name of book, but author is Bella Dodd?
