Ya know, I try and contribute general news to the forum as a service to other freepers who can’t post or are too lazy to post em. Sometimes I get the links from THIS thread, but make sure there’s no Q in it..
Besides taking the usual ridicule for posting something that is titled “Huge” or “Boom”, (like I made up the title), the antis take the opportunity to band together with comments like
“Haha..... those Q people were played for fools. How embarrassing.”,
“We ALL knew this; except for a group of stupid CULTISTS here.”
“TIME FOR EVERYONE TO MESSAGE ROBINSON,
‘GET THESE F**KTARD Q CULT BS`ERS OUT OF FR . BAN THEI F***OT ASSES.’”
“The Q fags haven’t hurt anyone but themselves. All they’ve done is waste time on Q threads instead waste it somewhere else. I can’t be mad at them, I just pity them.”
“Q and his merry band of kooks here spouted that nonsense every other thread.
Jim finally had to relegate them to one thread a day.
They were infecting the entire site with their nonsense.”
and from there it turned into a frenzy. The thread was about Huber! Not Sessions, not Q, ....
Maybe they derive the same sense of camaraderie we have, as they use us as their whipping boys; whatever it is, it’s unnerving that adults supposedly bonded by conservative thinking behave like a pack of dogs.
And THIS is the reason why all of us have to make sure that postings on this thread remain courteous... Because there’s no where else to go.

I’m not too lazy. I have just lost interest in sharing what I think is important with anyone EXCEPT the people on this thread. I am posting my Christmas videos there because I don’t want to burden this thread.
I am so very sorry you’re dealing with the dregs out there. You’re such a good and generous person that you deserve so much better.
The general population of FR has shifted (been overrun?), the quality of discussion took a decisive turn downward - to the point where there is very little of any real value to be had.
Then came the FReeQs!
Like a breath of fresh air, the original heart & soul of Free Republic was back!

I say that we haven't failed the true spirit of (a) Free Republic - They have been overrun. We're shoveling sand against the DERP tide! Who has the time?
We have seen the enemy infiltrating the board on the GP side and here in FReeQville (Oh, woe is us. Trump does nothing. Sessions is useless. No crimes will be prosecuted.) We know why they are here. We know who they are. I caution you to set aside normalcy bias and recognize - THEY ARE THE ENEMY!
