If you want to see how the Victorian elite of New York City lived there is the Frick mansion that has been converted to an art museum.

Good question. The lot itself is super valuable. I wonder with landmark restrictions and like arson might be the better option to extract maximum value. One can build a skinny residential tower with units most likely in the seven figures given the prime location.

That’s my guess. (Insurance scam).

Nice digs. Noticing on either side are modern apartments. Was there a dispute with developers?

Johnny Dollar was my second favourite OTR series, after the incomparable Gerald Mohr as Phillip Marlowe. For a classic New York setting, nothing compares to Broadway is My Beat. Honourable Mention to Damon Runyon Theater.

Every Sunday evening KONP plays several of those old serials. Last night I got out of the car during “To Serve Man” (the radio version of course), and returned home listening to “The Shadow”.
Love those old radio dramas

Such a shame. Oye vey.
It was beautiful inside at one point.
I wonder if there is a height restriction on the property. It would suck if you had the 4th or 5th floor on either side and the new building covered up your side view windows.

This is one of the major deep state power families.
The Imagery is certainly not Christian. Use your imagination beyond that.
Maybe Anderson Cooper knows what happened.
