I'm beginning to think the declass will be part of Trump's response to the Mueller report. The other day Trump tweeted that they already had 87 pages of the response written. Maybe the 87 pages are the declass documents.
I am also beginning to think Mueller isn't going to wrap this thing up any time soon. Why would he? He is getting a big payday. He is still hoping to find a "crime", and in the meantime it is hanging over this administration's head causing disruption. He could drag it out for another 6 months or more, take a few more months to write a report. Then we are into 2020. The report will give the Dims even more reason to impeach or threaten impeachment & they can use it the 2020 campaign."Who wants to vote for a President who is or will be impeached?"
Exactly this is their end game.
They get a 2-fer, stifle Trumps ability to get everything he wants done, bet they are fit to be tied he's done so much, and hang this impeachment over his head to demoralize his base and everyone who may have wanted to vote for a man of the people.
It just can not work, we can't let it.
IMHO Mueller is hanging on as part of Anti-Trump Insurance PLAN B - Keep Trump from being re-elected.
If Mueller wrapped things up before the 2020 campaign season without putting President Trump under a cloud by making a criminal charge democrats would go berserk - even more than usual.
They want to be able to make campaign claims that President Trump is under investigation for criminal acts.
They don't care about truth, substance or facts. They just want to be able to tag the President as being dirty.
