Two nuns in California allegedly stole more than $500,000 from the school they had been at for years, which they spent in casinos and on vacations.
Bank records show Sister Mary Margaret Kreuper and Sister Lana Lang had been embezzling funds from St. James Catholic School in Torrence for at least a decade, the Press-Telegram reported.
But officials from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles told parents and alumni of the school that auditors have not been able to trace all of the money trail.
Kreuper had retired as the school's principal earlier this year and she dealt with the school fees, which she allegedly withheld and deposited into an account only she and Chang knew about, the paper said.
While investigators found the two gave some of the stolen money back to the school, the rest was used for their "personal gain." Kreuper has admitted she took the money and expressed remorse.

Lang or Chang?
Heard the one about the young priest asking the head nun”what’s a quickie”. Answer “5 bucks”
The first two words alone are a shock to anyone who was taught by a Nun. “Nuns STOLE!” That’s much more than a Venial Sin right there! Maybe not quite a Mortal Sin though.
From another article
“The report claims the archdiocese and the church are not pursuing criminal charges after the nuns said theyre sorry.”
Sister Lana Lang? So that’s what happened after she broke up with Clark Kent!

Jerry Seinfeld was crushed
I wonder how much the two nuns won? $500,000 is a drop in the bucket for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
It is none of my business.
They must be Democrats!
Now known as the “Swinging Sisters”.
The two nuns are indistinguishable from the general public. I think they traded their religious habits for gambling habits.
Lana was much better than Lois in my estimation.
I think they are SJW’s, for sure.
Excerpt from “Who we Are”:
We believe in the interdependence of humanity and nature in the whole Earth community, and recognize our harmful impact.
We lead simple lifestyles and strive to foster the common good through parish service, adult education, spiritual direction and retreat work, direct service of the poor, and justice activities.
WHAT! No Monty Python Castle Anthrax gif at the time of posting?
Back in the day, the nuns that taught me in school would not be caught dead stealing cash, though more than several were often in the cups here and there, and would give you quite a good thrashing when they divined that it was time to pay for your “sins”.
Had one 200 pound Polish nun ram my head into the blackboard in sixth grade which left a dent we all gazed upon as a warning for the rest of the school year. Must say I straightened up and became an A student as long as I stayed in religious school. So there’s that:)
Developed some habits...
She visited when I was small. Dad took her to Las Vegas (early 50's) Apparently caused quite a stir having a nun in full regalia walking through the casinos.
My dad is said to have surveyed the scene and asked my great aunt:
"See sister, this is the wages of sin." And was instantly told to shut up by his aunt.
Sister got game!
