Good point, but heating a gasoline vehicle adds not cost as it uses waste engine heat.

Also, range is more critical in an electric vehicle since it takes hours to refill.

I’d love to have an electric vehicle but would also have to have a gas powered one for longer trips. Therefore an electric car is out of the picture for now.

What does that even mean? Particularly since that was in response to air conditioning.
