"Can’t completely disagree. I get tired of his braggadocio and I think I ultimately hurts his cause>"

What you call his "braggadocio" probably costs him ten points in the approval polls and might have cost a dozen House seats. Most presidents have surrogates to be their bullies, but he's his own bully, and a lot of people don't want that from a president. They want a veneer of "presidential" behavior regardless of what the president is like in private.

“They want a veneer of “presidential” behavior.”

We need Trump. The job calls now for a man of rough manner and brutal confrontation.

Like Grant, Pershing, and Patton....find a brawler and let him brawl.

“....What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 8-But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9-But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.” Mathew 11:7-9.

“Most presidents have surrogates to be their bullies, but he[Trump]’s his own bully.”

And that, in a nutshell is what got him elected. You know exactly what you get with Trump. He’s the most genuine, honest President we’ve ever had. I’ll take that any day over a Romney who talks in polite, refined language while his surrogates are stabbing you in the back. As far as costing House seats, who can say, but his campaigning on behalf of GOP Senate candidates was responsible for not only maintaining the GOP majority, but expanding it.
