The universe is our habitat.
We are the dominant known species in it.
Scientifically, or Biblically, we have dominion over the Earth and the species in it.
I suppose, theoretically, we "invade" thousands of habitats every day, from roundworms to robins to rhinos.
Other species threaten us at their peril.
Yeah, just exactly like the buffalo did. Oh, hippos and rhinos are now "endangered species" just because of attitudes like yours. God truly expects us to manage His Creation intelligently, on His behalf. Proper management does include understanding and respecting the characteristics of the "managed beasts".
