Actually, no. Many species exert dominance over others of their kind. Kindness is a learned behavior. Go to the beach and paint a seagull with a splotch of paint. The other seagulls will torment it ruthlessly, pecking it, screeching at it. Where do you think the term "pecking order" comes from? Your statement is progressive pablum.

Many times, when my own kids were small, I said that children are wild animals that have to be domesticated. Just like any animal the training may or may not take.
I got nervous laughs and strange looks in response.
The only person who agreed with me was the local juvenile probation officer.
