So whaddaya think about that? Some decent news about NFL players for a change.
To: Leaning Right
No decency or good ol' fun allowed in today's NFL, one would suppose.
I've heard of a former college coach who used to lecture his players about school, etc, telling them that NFL means "Not For Long" or "No Fun League".

The idea is to get them to stop not pay a fine. Next he or someone else will do something different.

Zeek: Class act. Know people who know him. Ditto Prescott.
People who run the NFL: not so much.

The little one act plays I see other teams do in the post-touchdown end zone put Zeke in the shade. Ridiculous.

The idea that Goodell would impose a fine for THIS ? ... frikn' beyond believable. You worry about "something else". Another charity ? A player's self-promotion is one thing, but not charity...into a bucket sitting in the corner of
their damn end zone? WTF
The decision making process at NFL HQ is out of touch. Lost touch with sanity. Incompetent. Obviously PC liberals who must not be challenged. Screw them. This is worse than Kaepernik.

Those post-score routines (which occur during dead transition time) are fun for them and us.

TD celebrations can get out of hand. Chad Johnson used to take it to ridiculous extremes. Of course the NFL could diffuse the situation and actually get decent press by donating the fine to the Salvation Army. We all know the NFL will not do the right thing.

Actually, all player fines are donated to charities. That’s what made this meta-funny. They donated a minor amount to the Salvation Army during the game, and then they paid $21k in fines to the same charity.

Just another reason to stop supporting the NFL. As far as I am concerned they are dead.

Free speech= urging people to kill police
Not free speech= supporting the Salvation Army

Their little good natured stunt just likely jumped the SA's take by thousands.

So kneeling during the anthem to protest against America a-ok.
Donating to the salvation army? Evil.
Gotcha. Still not watching the NFL.

Zeek: Class act. Know people who know him. Say what?
Didn't the NFL suspend him for six games last year for domestic abuse?
Geez!

No longer watching NFL football. Goodell is a fascistic little fool, even stupider than his father the late Sen. Goodell.
Where the hell is the Curling Channel?
To: Leaning Right
NFL is stupid and ridiculous. They assess a fine for something completely harmless, then let twisted freaks like Michael Vick come back after prison. I will never have any use for it after that.
