My 94yr old Dad, a well-decorated WWII Vet, combat engineer w/ Patton’s 3rd Corps Army in France, Central Europe, Rhineland, Ardennes and liberating Bastogne in The Battle of the Bulge, passed on Sept 26th. A minor correction, if, I may.

I’ve always heard it referred to as 3rd Corps (assumption being US Army). But wouldn’t that refer to the US Marines? Just wondering.
