A Hudson County judge has ordered a recount of the mail-in and provisional ballots cast in last months Bayonne Board of Education election.
The Dec. 3 order signed by Superior Court Judge Peter Bariso mandates a recount is completed at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hudson County Board of Elections in Jersey City. Barisos order was issued after Leo Smith, the districts former business administrator who came in fourth place in the school board race, filed a petition seeking a recount on Nov. 21.
By the end of election night, Smith held a 19-vote lead on incumbent Ava Finnerty for the third and final spot on the nine-member Board of Education. I’ve said this many times since 2016... the Democrats thought Hillary had the election sown up and didn’t want to taint her victory so they didn’t do much voter fraud. They won’t make that mistake again. If this midterm shows anything, when they pull out the stops, they change results in even deep red places.
Just give it to the Dem. You know their going to get it anyway.
Being from Bayonne, this is Dem vs Dem.
Hudson County! Where I was born and raised. Kearny, NJ. Named after it’s most famous local son Union General Phil Kearny. The place had always been crooked as a dogs hind leg. Harrison , NJ, to the towns southern border was even worse. Look up the Frank E. Rodgers.
