I taught in a predominantly black school. The mixed kids were usually the most trouble, it seemed like they believed they had to prove something, prove they were black enough.
Exactly. They lighter skinned blacks are the real problem usually.
you'll notice too that many black "activists" in recent history anyway, are also part white. WEB Du Bois, Huey Newton, Angela Davis, Jeremiah Wright, for example
Because of the Racism that Dare Not Speak Its Name: blacks toward whites.
Obama's advocacy of black racial radicalism is what happens when this mentality is taken out of the classroom and the 'hood into academia and politics.
Obama wouldn't have felt as much need to gravitate towards extremists like "Rev" Jeremiah Wright or endorse BlackLivesMatter riots with a nod and a wink if it weren't for the fact that the black community of Chicago never really accepted him as one of their own. Supporting black racialism was Obama's way of proving to skeptical American blacks that in spite of his white mother, his African rather than "African-American" father, and his elite background he was still really one of them.
