You need to research Radiation Seeds. A seed is inserted directly into the prostate tumor. The seed self dissolves over time. My uncle had this done for colon cancer for successful treatement.

My brother-in-law had that treatment. The problem is the seeds can move for about 2 weeks after implanting. In his case one moved close enough to his colon it burned it and he has had bowel control problems since.

One of my best friends who was like a father to me had the radiation seeds. The doctor told him he would die of old age before the cancer killed him. He was in remission for 4-5 years then it came back and he died about 18 months later at 86. He had no other health problems and would likely have lived to 100. I asked him why he didn’t have the surgery and he said he was afraid of impotence and incontinence. Now he doesn’t have to worry about either one.

My girlfriends uncle had the radiation seeds and had a scenario almost identical to my friend’s. It gets rid of the cancer for awhile and then it comes back.

A seed is inserted directly into the prostate tumor.

With the exception of removing the prostate itself, which I would choose at my age, there are risks involved.

A friend of mine had the seed which ultimately burned into his colon and he had major problems as a result........

I would rather have it removed completely than treat it with all the different remedies being offered.........
