Nice set of pictures at the link.
Any kind of dogs can be great, loving companions.

Our dogs have never done that but our cats did - twice in one day.

Our cat Daffy used to climb clear to the top to peek around but couldn’t get down - had to rescue her.

Yeah, she also slept with my dog. Cute couple.

Not only mutts, but rescues; they all need another chance.

Now I’ll have to give our 4 mutts an extra treat today.

To: Jimmy Valentine
Lots, maybe even most, rescues/shelter dogs are mutts.
They say they are the healthiest due to less inbreeding. Puppy mills are the worst place to find a dog. Lots of medical problems from inbreeding.

Oh my! Who knew that the second picture would be almost the twin of our Corgiador. She has been a family member since 2006.
Our youngest grandson is in LOVE with her. He calls her Woo Woo. He serenades her, feeds the dog food to her nugget by nugget, lays next to her, lays on her, etc. This dog has the patience of Job.

Terrific! You can be proud of both your grandson and your dog.

I miss my girl also. Was put down almost when she was fourteen; she just lost her direction, didn't know where she was and on the day she was found with her head in her water bowl frothing. Doc said it was time.

3 mutts and a pure breed here. The pure breed is falling apart and he’s not yet eight.
