Reading the responses to this thread just remind me of the pettiness and bitterness so many people hold. A man has died, and yet some just can’t contain their desire to take nasty parting shots at him, his family, friends, or whoever was in his orbit. Its pretty pathetic to be honest.

A man has died and yes my condolences to his family.

That said, our country is dying and George H. W. Bush has been part of a parade of presidents who have presided over our country's destruction.

And now we all have to watch the hype over the death of one of those presidents.

Are Freepers "petty" because they criticize GHW Bush at this point in time. No, of course they aren't?

Are Freepers "bitter"? You bet they are, as they should be.

Bitter? For what? You live in the greatest country in the world, with an economy that is the envy of the world. You have running water, indoor plumbing, heat, a car, or 2 or more, and every convenience that man could ever imagine almost literally at your fingertips.

You live in the best time in human history to be alive, in the greatest country in the world.

Yet you grumble behind the anonymity of your computer monitor how “bitter” you are. Conservatism is about optimism and action, not whiny complaining. Why don’t we leave that to the snowflakes and SJWs.
