Only ugly makes those magazines sell. Beauty takes away from the shock value that sells. It is pleasing and so isn’t jolting enough.

LOL. Good one, Jane. I actually do this at the local library where they have many magazines on display.
But it’s depressing because 4 out of 10 magazines out of the 100 shown have a Fake News cover or attack our way of life.
What can you do? Sigh.
To each his own. the Trumps did have a ceremony honoring the simple trees themselves a few days ago.

Run a page of labels through the printer — Avery 5160 is a good size — with “FAKE NEWS” on ‘em. Stick labels on 3”x3” Post-It notes. Put the pad in your pocket or purse. Sneakily (remember that cameras are everywhere) stick the notes on the magazines. Nothing is permanently defaced; nobody is harmed.
I did that on gas pumps with Obama’s quote that energy prices necessarily would increase.
Last year at Halloween, or the year before, in Costco I moved all of Hillary’s books under the big life-size witch display — the one that cackles when you walk by.
It’s amazing that Melania isn’t on any supermarket magazines. Yet I still see Michelle’s face everywhere.

Some people seek fame to become a celebrity to somehow make up for their own vacancy, accomplishment, and lack of self-esteem. Supermarket and Walmart shopping aisle fame appeals to those people.
Melania, however, is on a one-woman mission to remind the world of the dignity of craftsmanship, artistic expression, motherhood, charity, simplicity, feminine allure, and an “Old World” royal charm that Europe is steadily losing and America never had in much abundance.
Me too...especially in the dairy case...(er, sorry those are cows, not Michelle)
