"Stealing a car is only a misdemeanor ????"

Read the article. Seriously. From Findlaw.com:

"Wobbler Crimes
California auto theft laws are drafted such that it may be charged as either a misdemeanor or a felony. Crimes of this kind are sometimes referred to as "wobblers." The severity of the charge depends on the circumstances of the offense and the offender's criminal history."

Apparently, if the car value is "under $1,500", it can be written off as a misdemeanor, and a ticket is issued. He/she/it walks.

Yeah, I was surprised, too. No mention of the fact that someone who loses a "$1,500" car is more likely to be unable to replace it.

Just another reason that: To paraphrase the Untouchables. "I want to get these f#cks where they breathe! I want you to find these nancy-boy democrats, I want them DEAD! I want their family DEAD! I want their house burned to the GROUND! I wanna go there in the middle of the night and I wanna P#SS ON THEIR ASHES!"

Do it to them before they do it to us...
