California teens tortured, shot DEAD EXECUTION-STYLE- during trip to Tijuana

Two San Diego teens who took a day trip to Mexico to visit a friend last Friday were found dead in a Tijuana apartment in what is being investigated as a triple homicide.

Christopher Alexis Gomez, a 17yo football player at O’Farrell Charter HS, and Juan Suarez-Ojeda, a recent graduate of Ingenuity Charter School, set out to visit their friend, an 18yo Tijuana resident,...

Gomez and Suarez-Ojeda told family members that they planned to attend a barbecue in Ensenada, about 50 miles south of Tijuana, and would return to the U.S. on Friday night, ...

When the two failed to show up or contact relatives, Garcia says the family frantically called authorities and drove to Tijuana to search for them.

The bodies of Gomez, Suarez-Ojeda and their friend, were found Sunday morning after gunshots rang out at a housing complex.

Police discovered them shot dead execution-style, wearing only their underwear,... The teens had all been tortured prior to their deaths, a Tijuana detective allegedly told relatives of Gomez. The motive behind the brutal murders still remains unknown.

"Everyone is devastated," Garcia told reporters. "This just feels so unreal."

"They're monsters," she said of her cousin's killers while choking back tears. "Who does that to three young boys who have their whole lives ahead of them?"

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help both families cover funeral arrangements and any other unexpected expenses.

Garcia also set up a separate GoFundMe just to help her cousin’s family, who she said was struggling to even afford to bring Gomez's body back to San Diego.

"I know how this story sounds, like something that people hear on the news: You go to Tijuana and this happens," "But he was the most selfless, kindest boy ever … This shouldn’t have happened to him."

Sadly, you are right. We’ve driven to Ensenada from San Diego for dinner once...years ago...would never go again.

Not taking issue with your statement, but in your view what would be some legitimate causes to subject one to torture?

What kind of question is that? Do you have children? If my child were purposely severely hurt, maimed or killed by a malicious evil person without cause but for kicks, that would be cause enough for me to subject the perp to torture. I don't care how heinous that sounds. I would go nuts and do it. I'm not talking about a blind act like a buried IED or bomb. I'm talking about MS-13 type criminals who target innocents.

I cannot have sympathy for stupid people or their offspring.

It is, after all, why CA is the state it is and why they keep visiting that shithole of a country.

You couldn’t drag me over that border.

I wouldn’t go visiting Tijuana during
all the turmoil that’s happening there
now. This is like hiking on the Iran/
Iraq border. Also, there has been
16,000 murders in the first 6 months
this year, in Mexico.

I well understand what you are saying.

In the early 80's my former college roommate was attending the Autonoma in Guad. I traveled down there several times while he was there. Trips to Carayes or PV were great times. Never felt unsafe or at risk.

Unfortunately times change in negative directions. Very sad really as the Mexican people are great.

I could speculate they went to Tijuana for prostitutes, then the pimps told them to carry drugs back to the states. They refused and were summarily executed. Dumb decision to go into Mexico these days, unfortunately most teens are naive and many parents too weak or lackadaisical to counter it.

Even people named Gonzales or whatnot are not safe in that shithole. I am always amazed at people who let their kids vacation in Mexico. You’d have to kidnap me to get me across the border.

Plus one

Freepers are always always assholes on threads like these

We have no proof yet they were involved in nasty business

I used to live in Corpus

Several incidents in Matamoros and Reynosa whereby innocent college students in Mexico to party with friends were abducted

Some where killed by a Satan worshipping dope gang run by a Cuban Santeria maniac who sacrificed people for good luck and he paid bad guys to bring him victims he could torture

We’re tslking Goat Head evil here

One of thes boys had never set foot in Mexico before...it’s premature to be condemning dead kids

It never fails here though

Scold central

Empathy being so personally costly

I think it’s almost 3000

You can be kidnapped by bored low ranking New Generation Cartel of Tijuana for literally 1500 bucks

Make your folks wire it via Walmart to Walmart

I’m not joking .....I have a Guadalajara friend ....it happened to his daughter visiting there once

Now his family gets to the airport they are met by offduty CISEN agents which are like Mexican KGB...and he’s not rich rich....maybe 1-2 million net worth but he has a small finca with cattle outside Guadalajara and local bandits think since he’s now a gringo and has a ranch he must be rich

I think he paid 25,000 to save his daughter...who’s gorgeous btw...I mean fine as frogs hair

It’s a mess...Jalisco used to be really safe

TeeJuana......has always been grubby

hookers sounds right. Who were the cartel’s property, who wanted a ransom once they found out the boys were americanos. Someone with their passports and id will show up at the border within the next six months - sold on the black market of course.

I was reading an article earlier about tainted alcohol in Mexico at the resorts. Hundreds of Americans being poisoned, many wake up in the hospital, robbed and beaten, some after only one drink. Others drown or dead otherwise in various states of undress - all robbed. They should autopsy the bodies and not just accept a bullet to the head as definitive. Not that Messico will do it - too embarrassing.

>>What kind of question is that?<<

You misinterpreted my comments and my question. I was not taking issue with your statement at all. I was just curious to know what kinds of criminal acts you had in mind where torture would be justified. Your example regarding your child would surely be on my list as well, and I can think of quite a few more examples where torture would be warranted.

Yes I did misinterpret. Because some folks are strictly against torture for any reason and take exception to those who feel it is warranted in some cases, as I do.
I know people have different opinions but I can’t understand some.

For instance, DA Kamala Harris caused an uproar in San Francisco when some illegal latinos murdered a family for no reason, and Harris wouldn’t prosecute for the death penalty, pushing for a light sentence. No one could understand how a prosecutor in the D.A.’s office could go easy on the perps while having no sympathy for the victims (a father and sons were murdered). A lot of people wanted the perps to get the death penalty, and wishing they could be tortured.

Unfortunately, our system of justice does not allow for torture. I think it’s warranted in a vigilante situation where innocents related to the vigilante require vengeance.

The case in SF that DA Kamala Harris screwed up, causing many to hate her guts.
