“The World Series will be over by the end of October. How will they explain the ratings crater in November? I’ll offer the same prediction now as I did before the show’s debut last week. It will be pulled from the schedule (going on hiatus in the biz) by January and never return. Official cancellation notice in late spring/early summer.
Cue to “Roseanne” laugh.”
I’m anything but a TV prophet. But when ABC dropped Roseanne from the reboot, it was doomed. Like Murphy Brown, you will never see another episode of The Connors. Just waiting for the first cast member to blame “bigoted” viewers for the show’s demise.
Yeah, I’m a bigot. I’m deeply opposed to sitcoms that aren’t the least bit funny.
