I liked Bergen’s film work back in the day well enough... however Diane English’s crazy hubris in rewriting Cukor’s/Clare Booth Luce’s THE WOMEN is still horrifying.
Bergen’s a robot. Carnal Knowledge was her best work, and she was a robot in that too.
