A friend of the family works at a Dick’s and told my son they have an excess of unsold inventory at his location.
I visited one nearby in northeastern NJ; it was odd because you’d think you were in an area where hunting was popular and all the fish were edible - but you weren’t. Some people fish and hunt here, but the population is so dense and much of the water so polluted that it isn’t a demographic that is growing; instead it is shrinking. Yet from the items for sale you’d think you were deep in upstate NY, where both pastimes are popular. You could already see them turning into a clothing store; didn’t see anyone looking at the kayaks...
