As I continue to see Christians attacking flat earth (not mentioning any names), even attacking fellow Christians going so far as to call them stupid, it truly breaks my heart. It seems even though they have been told on numerous occasions that it has drawn people to the Lord, they still choose to hold on to their pride and the wisdom of this world over trusting God’s word. At the very least don’t speak on the matter so you don’t hinder someones potential in trusting the bible and seeking Jesus as a result.
The last thing I’ll say is this, how come when you ask a globe believing Christian their thoughts on evolution they will say “It’s a LIE perpetrated by so called science in order to hide God and discredit the bible”... But then if we were to ask those very same Christians their thoughts on Flat Earth we get “Oh heavens no, they wouldn’t lie about that, they’re scientist!”
Maybe we should all check our pride at the door and pray for a little discernment before jumping to conclusions shall we?

I wanted to post this as a General response to any of my Christian brothers or sisters who stand by the belief that we are living on a spinning globe in the vacuum of infinite space. While this is definitely not a salvation issue and Jesus is the only way to heaven, God has made it abundantly clear to me that he does not want his children to be deceived (just like we wouldn’t want our children to be deceived), and here at the end especially the true knowledge is being revealed just as he said it would.
The bible is the inspired word of God and nothing should be added or taken away from it. Man should never twist God’s word to fit his own world view because the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. This is crucial that you believe this. Either the bible is the inspired word of God and 100% true, or it isn’t. Knowing that I’ve held the bible up as a litmus test for this world many times because it is our only source of truth especially when it comes to things like evolution, or the big bang, or even aliens, I felt I had to do the same and hold the bible up to the same standard when it came to this. I began praying everyday that the Lord would lead me into all truth, that he would give me knowledge and wisdom, discernment to know what in this world was deception, and what was truth.
Throughout the bible, every person the Lord used to write any part of the inspired text we have today thought the earth was flat. No one including Jesus thought we were living on a ball spinning at 1038mph flying around the sun at 66,600mph. There are hundreds of verses that elude to God creating a flat stationary earth with a dome firmament in which he has placed the sun, moon, and stars. First of all, we are told that Satan deceives the whole world, most Christians are under the impression they are not included in the “whole world” because they have been saved however sadly this isn’t the case. We are all deceived in one way or another. If we as Christians realize we are being lied to when in comes to things like the origins of man with the big bang and evolution, why do so many of us still believe those very same scientist that say we came from monkeys when it comes to space and the earth? Satan is running this world for now through people (and he will have an even tighter grip on this place once the restrainer has been removed).
Let’s start in the beginning. God created the Sun, Moon, and stars on the fourth day, however grass, fruit, trees, and all other vegetation were created on day three... that doesn’t fit the globe model that we are taught. It made me wonder, was the earth spinning on the first three days? If we’re not spinning the force countering that gravity would crush us, so when did God make gravity? What were we orbiting before he made the sun? In fact when did the bible mention God spinning the globe up to 1038mph and send us flying around the sun at 66,600mph in the first place? You’ll find there are a lot of things we are adding to his creation in order to fit what we commonly believe now days.
The bible mentions God created two great lights, the greater to rule the day and the lesser to rule the night, which I believe means exactly what it says “Two” great lights, meaning the moon is giving it’s own light. Man tells us the moon is a giant rock reflecting the first “great light”. We are told the sun, moon, and stars are for signs and seasons and to “give light on the earth”. That means the stars were created to light the earth like it says, it also means they are considered “lesser lights” seeing as how there were only two “great lights”. Man tells us stars are enormous, a lot of which are much larger than our own sun and millions of times larger than the earth light years away all with solar systems of their own. Does it make sense that God created a vast infinite universe including all stars, planets, and galaxies on day four but spent the rest of creation week focusing on the earth making plants, animals, and people? :) The stars are much smaller and much closer than modern day monkey man science would have us believe, and they’ve been placed above our head as God’s giant celestial clock so when we “look up” we know what time it is.
There are several places in the bible that tell us one day the stars will fall to the earth, in fact Jesus himself tells us this. This is a problem for me, because it really paints us into a corner and we only have so many options to believe. Either A: Jesus did not know what stars were, which I don’t believe because he is God and most definitely knows what stars are. Or B: Jesus knew what stars were, he even said the word that meant stars, but really he meant asteroids/comets/and meteors. I don’t believe this either, because Jesus himself is the truth and would not lie to his disciples or deceive them in any way saying one thing but meaning something else. Or C: Jesus knew exactly what the stars were and meant that near the end of days stars would literally begin to fall out of their place in the firmament above to the earth below. Here again if we listen to man, it would be like a trillions of flaming beach balls hitting a single grain of sand. The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God, and rightly so!
