Nope... just a lighting test for their Chromakey... Big Head is not an astronaut, just some tech working in their TV studio.

Or an astronaut filming it through the shuttle window. Or an employee converting the video to 16MM film. Or a news person recording it off a monitor at a press conference. There's much simpler explanations then it's a fake and millions of people are in on it and nobody has ever spilled the beans for 60 years.

The Big Head guy’s head couldn’t have been a reflection in a “window” or off a monitor... the image does not reflect off the entire white plastic “shuttle” model...

The image of the big guy’s head only can be seen off a mirrored sticker or blue colored parts of the white plastic shuttle.

This is a chromakey lighting problem in a TV studio.
