The “sufi scholar” and his followers are regarded as “abusing the prophet” by the Salafist scumbags. This is one of the long persisting schisms within Islam, although Sufiism is not so much a separate sect as a complex tradition existing within both Sunni and Shi’a Islam.

Sufis tend to be more literary and intellectual in their approach to Islam. The most virulent (i.e. dedicated) Salafists and Wahhabis regard Sufis as a grave threat to the purity of Islamic belief and practice.
