What she did — turning her over and pounding on her back - - isn’t the Heimlich, is it?
Nice.
They shouldnt allow choking babies at Golden Corral...
pounding on the back is not heimlichs procedure, but the proper way to dislodge food from anyone choking
I wonder what other situations could be helped better by the employee making an appeal for anyone able to help? I have been to many places of business over the years where as I exit an ambulance is present. I usually get the feeling that stores/businesses don’t want customers to know there is an issue being it’s not announced in any way. But maybe the person in need could have been helped more while waiting for on medical people to arrive?
More than once while I’ve been on airplanes they have had to ask for any medical people on board to help with a passenger, so why for on the ground situations is it more hush and wait for EMT.....I think all situations are important and timely, even if people like myself who are not very medically trained can do nothing more than pray - at least we would be alerted and can do that and God can take it from there.
A beautiful baby and a beautiful lady. Thank you sooo much Deborah. You are an angel on earth. Peace and happiness be with you.
The obstruction was a piece from a toy set called "Baby's First Golf Set."
It is sold by this guy, Irwin Mainway.
This is what I'm told, anyway. It could be wrong.
