Maybe.
Nobody can predict the future.
Heck, they can’t even predict tomorrow’s weather right.
I know better than to trust a forecast more than a day or two out.
Too much uncertainty.
smilodons are Sabretooth tigers ...
The last snowball earth was about 700 million years ago.
The article mentions that we are entering a Super Grand Solar Minimum.
The article says that these Super Grand Solar Minimums "recur approximately every 2000 years".
According to the above graph, earths temperature over the last 500 million year has never been anywhere 2 degrees C.
My point still holds. The article says that "at the bottom of this ice age period in 200 years time, the average temperature on Earth will be 2C". Given the above temperature history and given the supposed duration of the Super Grand Solar Minimum cycle, I believe that the article is in error. The article should have said that the average temperature will drop about 2 degrees C.
We’ll be glad we’re no longer here, unless the whacko scientists I pinged you to yesterday don’t succeed in their plan to shoot space aerosols at the sun to fight “global warming”.
Not would. It will kill billions. First to go are all the climate change zombies. They are so wrong they are now literally worth more dead than alive. Tis a shame.
Not to worry. There are a ton of bright people working on all those solutions right now. Start digging into this subject and you'll run across lots of them.
You are correct.
This is one of the few things in the natural world that can be predicted with stunning accuracy. It's because it's a repeating pattern that has cycled with regularity for millions of years.
The evidence is written in core samples from ocean bottoms, tree rings, and ice cores, as well as human chronologies over the last couple thousand years.
Dig into the subject a bit and you'll quickly discover how sound the science is.
Not to worry. Im sure Mexico would give us citizenship, health care, the right to vote, paid assistance....

Funny you mention that. I live almost on top of the 45th and have been thinking for awhile that things were about to get nippy. Very preliminary phase searches still. At this point looking at areas through hill country but dont want to get too close to any of the liberal hives. West edge of hills might be better long term but outside of New Braunfels over toward North of Bryan looks better at this time, at least it does from this distance.. Willing to offer any advice to someone looking for a rural spot? Another thing, there used to be 5(?) bases around San Antonio, any idea how it became the communist hell hole I hear people tell of?
Ive said many times that Mexico and the Central American countries have been nothing but a collective pain in our ass. The people dont like to live there? Fine. Put the military on the southern border and push everyone south until at least the far side of the canal and build the wall there. No need to worry about displaced people. They didnt want to be where they were and if Brazil doesnt want them then they can all go live in the socialist utopia of Venezuela where they will be taken care of. Its a humanitarian thing really. The walk to Venezuela is much shorter than it is to walk here.

Can any of y'all help our fellow Freeper with advice about Central Texas?
Can’t argue that.
“Can any of y’all help our fellow Freeper with advice about Central Texas? “
All of Central Texas is pretty conservative with the exception of Austin. Stay the hell away from Austin.
Here it is, almost a year later, and that is proving to be true. Next year, and many years after that, will probably be worse. More people are waking up since you posted last year, but many still remain uninformed.
