The two golf greats will meet Friday afternoon, with the broadcast starting at 2 p.m. EST. It is being shown on DirecTV and AT&T U-Verse and other cable and satellite outlets for $19.95. It can also be streamed on Turners B/R Live. The broadcast will feature both golfers mic'd up as well as microphones placed on their caddies (Joe LaCava for Woods and Tim Mickelson for his older brother). With the showdown on pay-per-view, there will be no commercial breaks and plenty of opportunities to hear both golfers try to one-up each other with (gentlemanly) trash talk and verbal jabs.

This is also the first PPV golf match ever.
For real!
The $9 million winner-take-all event is being held at Vegas’ Shadow Creek. Once a private course, its now public and sits at No. 5 on Golf Digests list of the top 100 public courses in the U.S.
I just paid my Capital One bill, so I guess that means I'm putting up the money.
You're welcome.
No thanks. I can take Charles Barkley but Samuel L. Jackson should have been in a dumpster years ago. Well, I might be tempted to watch it only if they had to use each other’s clubs.
I can watch these guys play for free dozens of times a year, why would I pay for it? They are far past their prime. These guys went 0-6 in the Ryder Cup for the USA in September, when it mattered.
Once a fellow passenger on a flight to Phoenix told me I reminded her of Phil Mickelson. I took it as a compliment.
Thanks for the reminder. Just bought it for mom to watch. She loves them both and will be in heaven.
Any scores yet ?
I guess you don’t have anything left in your wallet?
Tiger up by one on 3...
Live blog....
Tiger vs Phil bump
Bread and circuses.
Chuck Barkely should be flipping burgers, not pimping them. jmho.
The US has a dismal record when it comes to the Ryder Cup, winning only 5 and tying one out of the past 16 match ups........
FWIW, the Ryder is based on Match Play, totally different from typical Medal Play used in the PGA............
In terms of PGA rankings, the U.S. completely dominated the field at the Ryder Cup, but like I said, the format of match play is completely different from stroke play.......
Have we heard the first GDMF from Tiger yet?
None actually!
Nice chatter, making bets!
