Not singling out Kennedy, but some Supreme Court justices appointed around this time were the ones responsible for Roe v. Wade et al. passing unfortunately.

Kennedy only appointed two Justices: Arthur Goldberg, who resigned in 1965 (years before Roe v Wade) and Byron White, who was one of two dissenting votes (along with Rehnquist) on Roe v Wade.

Oh wow. Good to know. Thank you. Sad situation if the 1st Catholic President had appointed someone for abortion.
