That does make sense, especially since for the first election in 30 something years the Consent Decree wherein Repubs could not investigate election fraud is over. IIRC it meant no contested elections due to fraud in areas with "minorities" or some crap.
I'm especially thinking about the stolen races in Orange County CA. A county that voted for the GOP candidate for governor but cast 300.000 more votes to turn every congressional district blue. It seems that the Republican candidates almost relished losing a seat they had legitimately won. I think this is where the battle will be waged.
I hope it spreads all across the nation and every close election is scrutinized. The "midterms are safe" comment by Q could be that the elections were monitored. "We have it all" would be a comfort, finally.
