Saccharomyces boulardi is a probiotic; quite helpful while on antibiotics - not being bacterial. A helpful defense against C-diff (Clostridium difficile infection), a problem that occurs with (heavy) administration of antibiotics.

It's in the same family with the bacterium Saccharomyces boyardee, which helps you digest canned ravioli.
