Yup. Jones was a big part off the SF Dem machine, especially in the area of the black vote.

Wheres the barf alert?
He’s been compared the years to Hitler, but unlike Hitler, Jones didn’t gain his followers by appealing to their worst natures. Jones told his followers, “You’re gonna have to give up things. What we’re trying to do is make sure everyone gets a fair share, not that you’re going to get more.”
The author is completely wrong here. Hitler was a "progressive" of his day. Jones demonized the United States government and western civilization. Hitler demonized the Jews and western civilization.
Hitler demanded sacrifice, hard work, and surrendering the self to the collective, just like Jones.
Charles Manson’s cult, Anton LeVay’s Church of Satan(TM), Jim Jones’ Peoples’ Temple, Scientology, and a whole lot of other bad enterprises got started in San Francisco or found a welcome home there in the 60s and 70s (Manson later moved out near Los Angeles).
Diane is not the only one who dodged a bullet.
This article reinforces what I have long thought about the DemonRats -they are agents of Satan.
This playbook has been used many times before, most notably to transform Adolph Hitler into a rightwing madman when in fact he was anything but rightwing. The only ones who might consider Hitler rightwing were communists. To everyone else he was a creature of the left. He was a flop in art school, a rumored homosexual or at least bisexual, a socialist rabble-rouser from early adulthood, a despiser of Christianity and a complete totalitarian redistributionist nut once he had power. Sounds like a garden variety up and coming leftist, to me. But, to the public at large, he’s been successfully pinned on conservatives. Quite the handy trick, used over and over again.
Sounds like the author drank the Kool Aid.
>>Meanwhile, Jones is in the grip of drugs more than ever, and his paranoia is expanding. But there they are 150 miles away from anything, and the only voice they hear every night is Jones telling them news from America, that concentration camps for blacks have just been opened, that the Army is now shooting down even more dissidents just like us. So youve got exhausted people who are malnourished, and theyre hearing this over and over from Jones.
sounds like the rhetoric from the left, BLM ranting against police shooting men just because they are black, Democrats railing against “trump’s” concentration camps on the border separating mothers from their children. All Day, Every Day, 24 hour news cycle on cable tv “news” and “entertainment”.
Yep.

More on the inner workings of Jim Jones’ peoples temple and the doc who mixed the poison. this is an excerpt from a lengthy article.

When Jim Jones met Larry Schacht, he pulled a neat trick: He healed Schachts body while simultaneously destroying his spirit.
Jones helped Schacht get clean and offered to pay for medical school. Then, according to an affidavit purportedly written by Schacht, Jones had sex with him. This was one of Joness customs, a way to exercise complete control over his followers. Jones described these coerced encounters as a personal sacrifice on his part, as if the sex was purely for the benefit of the follower.
As in the cases of other church members who signed affidavits, the one bearing Schachts name was likely heavily coached if not plain ghostwritten and is of dubious validity. Still, Schacht was willing to sign it, as it was intended to support Jones in his child-custody battle with two former church members.
It reads: Jim Jones has always shown great love and concern for me. He permitted me to accept my bisexual nature by having sexual relations with me at my request before I went to medical school. He penetrated me in the anus. This in turn gave Schacht the confidence he needed to become a doctor and fulfill my goal to be of service to suffering humanity in the medical profession. (How such an affidavit was supposed to help Joness court case is clearly beyond explanation.)
The 70s were a sad sick time and many of those Red Revolutionaries are still impacting American policy and education.
NOW, Bill Ayers, John Brennan...
Dig through Grimerica podcasts, they interview many authors and investigive journalists who cover this history. It started in the late 40’s and is well documented.
Nothing here even scratches the surface.
Deeper and darker than any horror story, with more international intelligence agency connections than any Google server. Scale, scope, and continuing parameters of the western operation are astounding.
The western op started in the valley, there were real nazi humans involved, and a few satanist... mostly through dia operations ramping up before the Kennedy murder.
40 years ago was the last time we had “Peak Socialism” in the US.
That’s why the Left had to run away from the label “Liberal” for at least 2 decades.
Hopefully we are about to see the same phenomenon with “Progressive”.
Red Howard Zinn’s Communist Peoples’ History of the United States is taught in schools. Bill Ayers chairs education. Kate Millett’s Sexual Politics is still taught in schools.
the Communist youth we see of today (some of whom are Obamajugend, Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm) will continue to attack the core of this country for decades to come.
Yes, it was a sad Time.
Later in the piece the Yahooooo yellow journalist twice tries to bring Trump into the discussion. The book author doesn’t quite take the bait but ever defends “the good” of Jim Jones and the Peoples’ Temple.
Can’t find fault with drug fueled socialist utopian dreams. Stuck on stupid.
