Break happened Monday and was set and casted at ER. Tuesday I saw a local (Lawrence KS) orthopedic surgeon who mainly does hip replacements. He sent me to an orthopedic surgeon at KU med who said keep it elevated and we’ll do surgery Tuesday. Tomorrow. Pins, plates. Etc. My sil says it’s to keep from having to do thanksgiving. 🙃
