OU’s defense is awful. Like you, I can’t understand the high ranking.
I just cringe watching Oklahoma Defense. Fortunately the QB can light up the scoreboard.
Glad to see UCF finally break the top 10. They’ve won 23 straight. Gonna faceoff with LSU in a bowl. Should be great game!
The ACC isnt much this year and I think Clemson is in for a rude awakening when they actually play a solid team. I think UCF and WSU could both beat them..
I grew up in Orlando and have two brothers who are UCF grads. As a University of Florida grad, I must now endure my brothers’ ribbing about UCF having a better record and higher poll ranking than my storied Gators.
Yep. Afraid they are going to beat UW for the first time in about 5 years.
I wished the Cuse’s qb did not get injured so early in the game on Saturday. If he didn’t get injured, I think the score with the Fighting Irish would have been a lot closer.
Well, they just beat the previously undefeated Red Raiders of the Chenango Valley, so they MUST be pretty good.
Good questions, but there are good answers. Notre Dame won by a touchdown or less at home to some weak, weak teams, including Ball State. Don’t misunderstand me: ND deserves a shot at the national title, but they will get one. It doesn’t really matter if Clemson is 2 and ND is 3 or ND is 2 and Cl is 3.
You must have heard the news. University of Washington has decided to mess with people’s heads by adopting the nickname “state.” This kinda makes sense because well everybody always has to say Washington State as opposed to Washington DC
At the time they played them, Miami was ranked 8th, and LSU won at a neutral site. At the time they played Auburn, Auburn was ranked seventh, and LSU won on the road. LSU lost a close road game to Florida, who at the time was ranked 14th. LSU then defeated at the time number three Georgia at home and at the time number 19 Mississippi State. Losing to a semi-pro Alabama team who is ranked number one is not shameful. LSU still has a very good Texas A&M team to face on the road, a team that came within two points of number two Clemson. What I am trying to say is that LSU deserves the respect thrown their way based upon the toughness of the schedule they have played. UCF is undefeated but look at their schedule and compare who they have played to that of LSU this year and it isn’t even close. I think the old BCS rating system would have taken this into account and UCF would be further down they they currently are.
That was all before they switched to Book. Book has turned the offense around. Wimbush just can’t pass.
You cannot assume something when it is factual. The SEC last year had both finalist for the national championship. They had to defeat what was perceived as other top four teams to get there. Isn't that earned? The SEC won seven straight BCS national championship games against the best teams selected. In this streak, four different SEC teams, three from the SEC West Division won the title. This is earned respect. That this conference has multiple members playing at such a high level is far and away above the other conferences and deserves the recognition it is getting.
They need to quit playing so many non FBS teams non-conference. Most of them play 2 a year. There are enough FBS cream puffs that you should not have to resort to playing non FBS teams.
Except, Kyler Murray is the best player in College Football this season.
The difference in Kyler and Tua is that Tua is playing on a team that might be a pretty good start at an NFL expansion team on BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL, right now. Kyler has a horrible defense to have to bail out (thanks again, Bob and Mike) in all but one game so far this season, and he came close to it even in the one loss.
I would never contradict that.
How about the fact that the only Florida school in the top ten (unbeaten besides) is Central Florida?
Accurate and correct. Which other conference has SIX teams in the Top 25 as of this week? Hmm. No one you say. Case closed.
