The video hits a lot of childhood memories as my mom loved to watch musicals and listen to the stars of her era. Although, like many great cooks she had weight issues her entire life.. that never got in the way of her “Kicking up her heels” as she use to call it. I'd watch her dress up once in awhile and recalled the sequins on her dress.....it turned an otherwise simple woman into a star in my eyes. Rare she did so but it sure left an impression on me.
