Not so much Nelson, but Abrams and Gillum were long shots at best and came closer than most anybody thought.
I agree; I don’t see having these idiots campaign from them as the cause of their demise, but rather a sign that the candidates themselves knew they were long shots at best, and had nothing to lose by having these miscreants campaign for them.
