Democratic California Rep. Eric Swalwell suggested on Friday that the U.S. government could use nuclear weapons on its own citizens if they fight back against firearm confiscation.
Right-wing internet personality Joe Biggs tweeted at Swalwell in response to a May report that Swalwell wants to ban “military-style semiautomatic assault weapons” and prosecute gun owners who did not turn in their newly-banned weapons.

What the dumbass doesn’t realize is that a precision bolt action rifle is a much more formidable weapon.
Swalwell, if it comes down to the gov’t nuking gun owners, don’t really expect to live long enough to see if your plan works.

I wonder if Eric likes Sushi, he does live near San Fransisco, and there are lots of places there that have wonderful delicious sushi.
Maybe Swalwell can explain WHY the government HAS nukes. Oh, yeah....because other countries do. That's why good folks need firearms. Because bad folks do. And always will.

Eric Swalwell would like a Thermonuclear Civil War....
The problem is the cities would be hit hardest in such an even, there is a LOT of land in the USA.
To nuke all the “country hicks” would take a hell of a lot more nukes ( at least 10-20 TIMES as many ) than it would take to wipe out many of the main liberal infested areas.
Plus all the city nuclear refugees would have to flee to the countryside where they would easily be identified and taken out.

Would not be a game little Eric would even want to contemplate.
Not to mention that a majority of the military soldiers come from more rural areas too...

Corrupt governments eliminate people by rounding them up door to door, not nuking them.
He is going to get a highly unpleasant visit by some folks with black suits, guns and hostile attitudes. They will also likely inform him that they have overwhelming evidence that shows that his party won the majority by unprecedented voter fraud in American history.
It’s democrat logic, let’s kill potentially millions of innocent people just so we can get rid of a few weapons....I guess that’s what Pelosi calls collateral damage....

Yeh, he’s an idiot for sure. First, he doesn’t realize that the military, with the exception of a few politico opportuntunists, is overwhelmingly conservative. And, imho it’s doubtful that it would obey orders to fire on civilians who would be their own people, parents, grandparents, other relatives, hometown friends, etc. it’s a non-starter. Secondly, pro and anti gun folks live, work, are commingled almost each other,p. How would it be possible to use nukes, even small tactical nukes without killing everyone in the area? Never happen.
