I’m here in it. I’ve been to Mexico City and Beijing, so it’s not the worst I’ve ever experienced, but it is the worst I’ve experienced in the United States. Makes no sense to close the schools however, as very few people in San Francisco have air filtration at home. If the kids can’t go out to play, I fail to see why they shouldn’t be in class!
This is possibly a Do it for the children politically correct gesture.
During the Thomas fire in Ventura everyone was walking round with masks on. We were downtown shopping and had ash falling on us but I didnt think it was that bad
