She loves for me to take her to the dollar store because I give her a dollar and eight cents to get whatever she wants, and she pays for it herself and gets her receipt. She knows the eight cents is for the government, but doesn’t understand why the government thinks they have a right to it.
Anyway, yesterday I told her I’d take her but I had to get a few things at HEB first. She was ok at first, but when I told her I needed to get some salad, she sighed, threw her hands up in disgust, and said, “this is SUCH a waste of time”. LOL. She’s six years old.
I’m with Mayzie, shopping for food is such a waste!
Unfortunately a necessary waste.
If you had said you needed to get candy or cookies, it probably wouldn’t have been a waste of time :-)
