Elections are end of March 2019. Poroshenko insist that martial law won’t impact timings of elections.

Martin.....There’s never been any evidence Russia invaded Ukraine. Repeating false claims doesn’t suddenly make them true.

Kev.....Crimea has been the seat of the Russian Navy for 100 years Red Army has been there as well no need to invade they live there ? British tried this one ,with a cavalry charge ,lol and got there butts kicked.
OurRepublic.....It has literally been administered, taxed, and protected by the Ukrainian government since the breakup of the Soviet Union. Russia moved troops into the region to take control. Black and white.

Under Russian law, Putin would need to go to his parliament (Duma), to get a mandate to use Russian troops on Ukraine territory (full scale ground attack as PP intimates could hardly be hidden). He had such authority for a few months in 2014, but it was revoked that summer.
