Why I remember in my homeport of Yokosuka some girls juggling 10-15 at one time and remaining ‘true and loyal’ to each of them - used to be ‘fun’ to sit around and watch the ‘regulars’ jockeying for position when the ‘FLEET WAS IN’, keep their ‘regular Joe happy, while fending off the ‘new talent’ that miraculously showed up when there was a surge of sailors in town.
Those girls were something, juggling all the guys AND having a better knowledge of ship movements than Fleet Ops.
I was almost stationed there on the Blue Ridge in ‘93.
I wonder how different my life would be if I had not gotten married to my first ex (The Demon) and had my orders changed to San Diego.
